Australian snakes.

I'm learning a lot about snakes in Australia. I haven't seen any in the wild, but people talk about them and always remind you to be aware of their presence when you are hiking in the bush.

A lot of the buildings here are made out of steel. Every steel building I've been in so far has a python living in the roof. Good thing it's early springtime because the cold weather really slows the big snakes down. They won't actually harm humans, but it's still unsettling to hear a huge snake slithering around overhead.
